Arrived here around midday and started looking for pubs and bars right away -> was my birthday:-)
Found a pub -> had some beer
Found a bar -> had some beer
Found some guys -> had some drinks
Found myself in bed the next morning with a big hangover…:-(
So next day was a relaxing pool day – but only in the shadow, otherwise I’d have to throw up…
At night we went to a garbage bag party (Australiens are weird). I was a bee and Robin was Ariel.

Next night party again…was a bad idea! Felt very bad the next day on the bus to Rainbow Beach. Was afraid I wouldn’t make it. Every roundabout or brake made me almost throw up. I finally made it but had to sit in the gras for half an hour before I could actually walk the 10 meters from the busstop to the hostel reception!

We got picked up from Belinda, a friend of my friend Robin and stayed at her house for a while. Brisbane is a beautiful city. It’ s not directly on the ocean but they built this little beach area in the center of the city which is really nice.

Belinda was a wonderful guide during these days. We went to an AFL (Australien Football League) game, watched the lights of the city and the stars above form a mountain at night (now I know what the Southern Cross is), went to Lemington National Park, Tamborine National Park, the Australia Zoo and a glow worm farm.
Belinda made a huge cake for my birthday, unfortunately we couldn’t have a birthday party because we had to catch the bus the next morning at 6:30 am
Going along the Sunshine Coast now up to Noosa. On the way we’ll stop for a bush walk to have a good view of the Glashouse Mountains.

Erster Tag in Queensland an der wunderschoenen Gold Coast. Surfers Paradise hat diesen Namen verdient. Der Strand ist 37 km non stop, 30 degrees, lot s of surfers (not good looking:-( )…
Unfortunately only 1 day and 1 night over here because it s quite expensive and very touristic… going up to Brisbane today (ca. 900 km north from Sydney) and on the way I ll try ‘Zorbing’. It s about being inside of a big plastic ball filled with air and rolling down a hill. Will be fun…
Ah and one more thing…started thinking in English so I m going to write in English as well;-)
Zorbing on 26th of April: …was awesome!!!
